Quiet and nice property
The property is kept clean and the pool is nice. The people are nice who run it. It is very quiet and the beds are nice. The one thing I would report is the mold in the windows and bathroom (this is something all 13 hotels we stayed at had a problem with - especially since there are no bathroom fans in any of the Italy properties) I am picky about mold so I am letting others know. I let the property know that the windows and grout/shower had mold.

Wonderful resort. Highly recommended!
Great pool and breakfast with a vast range of local products and homemade cakes. The staff could not have been more helpful - they even let us borrow a highchair to take to a local restaurant one evening. The play area for children and a shaded area in the garden with drawing materials was a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely break.

This is an excellent property with a high service quality. The manager and staff are very helpful and a great breakfast is provided. The bed is comfortable and the ac works well. The pool is nice and cool. The property is not the easiest to find and there are limited facilities in the surrounding area because it is located several kms outside Ragusa.

Artemisia was an oasis! The environment was beautiful, the staff delightful and so accommodating and the facilities excellent. My room was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with a great shower! The air conditioner struggled to make much impact, could be a problem on a very hot day. The breakfast was beyond expectations of a continental offering with eggs and bacon on offer as well as a huge selection of cereal, fruits, tortes..... great coffee too!! I would highly recommend this property...

We stayed at Artemesia for two weeks in May. It is an ideal location to explore the lovely South East of Sicily. Our accommodation ( in Number 1) was comfortable, well equipped and more than we expected. The whole resort is clean and well maintained and we found the staff to be friendly and extremely helpful. There was a wide range of food available at breakfast and the option to have evening meals brought in from a local restaurant was useful after a late arrival back at the resort. The swimming pool is excellent. We would happily stay again.

We loved our stay at Artemisia Resort so much that we returned a few days later on our way back to Catania! It is a beautiful resort in the peace and quiet of the countryside, and yet just a few minutes drive in to Ragusa. The rooms are fully equipped with a beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Also provided is a kettle and mini bar...not always the case in Italy! And very welcome! The pool is wonderful, very large and clean and very relaxing after a day of sightseeing! With lots of sun beds available. They have an amazing breakfast! Bacon, eggs, meats, cheeses, and a wonderful array of Sicilian cakes and fruits. But the most important of all for us was the family and staff!! They were all so welcoming, happy and friendly and went way out of their way to help with anything we required! Best staff ever...and we have travelled a lot! By the time we left we felt like we had made new friends!! So thank you so much to Federico and his parents, and also Samantha and Noemi...among others!!! Your place is outstanding and we cannot wait to visit you all again soon!

Lovely hotel, well positioned for many places Staff were excellent. Our only criticism was that there was not enough storage in our room. Plenty of room but only one small wardrobe-- no drawers or cupboards.

Affordable Luxury - A True Sicilian Gem
Superb 8 day stay at the Artemisia Resort which has everything and more.... What a great find! Easy to locate & well signposted, found on the outskirts of Ragusa. Greeted by welcoming, helpful staff after the 100km (90 minute) drive from Catania Airport & was delighted with my allocated modern, newly renovated, spacious & well equipped, air conditioned period room. Like with everything is Sicily, they certainly like to hide their gems! I cannot speak highly enough of the attention to detail given by each member of staff & this really is the definition of value for money. Special mention to Francesca who helped me so much during my visit with special places to visit. It truly was a memorable trip! The pool is an added bonus & the breakfast caters for all tastes. Although there is no on-site restaurant, the local delivery service from a nearby establishment provides a large range of high quality food in a timely manner. Artemisia Resort should surely have a higher star rating & I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to explore the real Sicily. A true ambassador for Sicily & Italian hospitality - Thank you so much!

This is a really nice hotel to relax in. The location is not ideal and you need a car to go anywhere. Breakfast is very good with a variety of local cakes and sweet pastries, but there's no restaurant for lunch or dinner although food can be ordered in from a nearby restaurant. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff - all very helpful and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

Country Charm
This peaceful country resort has plenty of opportunity for exploring and many diversions to keep one happily occupied. There is a pool, table tennis, checker board, paperback novels, magazines and a children's play area. Noemi checked us in and with her great smile and personality made us very quickly feel at home. She offered a dinner recommendation close to the land then made reservations for us. Rooms are large, beds comfortable and good WiFi in the room. A buffet breakfast awaited us the next morning with hot and cold choices as well as many options of Sicilian pastries. We enjoyed our one night stay in the country!
