Some tech issue was going on at the front desk so check in took a solid 30 minutes and lines were backed up which was odd for 8ish on a Sunday night. We had 2 rooms. I would suggest that the front desk staff make it a practice not to loudly announce room numbers so that everyone in the lobby hears them. This was incredibly unnerving for my 24yo daughter who then knew everyone in the lobby not only heard her room number but also the directions to her room. We had 2 rooms. Both were relatively clean, but minor issues usually indicate that deep cleaning isn’t happening either. In my room, there was scotch tape on part of the outlet in the bathroom that served no purpose so it was obviously left behind by a previous guest and not removed by staff. My nightstand and desk both had circles from previous guests drinks that were easily removed when I wiped things down with a Lysol wipe. This just showed that cleanliness was lacking. Sheets and tub/shower were clean so that was a plus. We have stayed here 4-5 times the night before early flights and have found it to be a solid choice for the price. We’ve never stayed late enough for breakfast but the fact that it’s included makes the price even better.

Easy to sign in, you can start the process online or have real people to do it for you. I was greeted by 2 nice women, checked in and went to my room. It was so nice! A king size bed and lots of room. I thought since it was near RDU, I wouldn’t rest well but I never heard the first plane. My room had a door leading outside to the pool. Very nice!! The overnight stay was great, good mattress, 40-11 dozen pillows on the bed, darkening curtains, as I said previously, no plane noise and vey little noise of any sort. The next morning, I had the complimentary hot breakfast. Later, I was sent a link to check out but I wanted the personal touch so I went to the front desk. I turned in my key and waited for the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle driver was a pleasant young man who quickly got me to the airport. I was the only passenger and we had a nice conversation the short trip to the airport. Any time I need a place to stay near the airport, La Quinta has my business!

For an overnight stay this hotel was average. The rooms need a little updating of coat of paint. The bathtub had a dip in it which could be a problem for some. I let the front desk know. All Staff were freindly!

We cancelled our stay due to the room being filthy. They were cigarette butts on the carpet and hair (either human or animal) all on the a/c unit. The staff apologized and even the manager sent me an immediate response when I emailed him the pictures. We did not feel comfortable staying there after seeing the room.
