Super convenient hotel at a very reasonable price near the Duke medical complex. Spacious rooms, lots of light, and great equipment—huge TV, mini-fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. The only downside is that there is not much around except commercial buildings, and not much (restaurants, stores, whatever) within walking distance, which is a problem if you do not have a car. However, the free shuttle service to anywhere in a two-mile radius is great (weekdays only) and really helps.

This is a barebones property. It has a great location in relationship to Duke Hospital. The shuttle is definitely a plus. I can’t say enough about the shuttle drivers helpfulness. I had a room with a kitchenette, but it had no coffeemaker! The bath was tiny with a tub which is a problem for someone that is using a walker and has ambulatory issues. This facility needs serious updating and upgrading, but no complaints about the staff.

This is primarily a place to stay for friends and relatives of patients at the Duke Medical Center. Rooms are clean, and large - other than the bath, which is very small. There is a dining table for two, and a microwave, but no other amenities. It is bare bones, but priced approximately. Parking is very convenient just a few feet from the front door. Staff is nice.

Parking was easy. The staff was helpful and friendly. The property was clean and appeared recently renovated. The room was very comfortable. My only issue was the one night I stayed there, people were arriving and departing anywhere between 2am and 5am. The voices and the doors slamming echoed down the hall and woke me multiple times during the night, which made it difficult for me to feel rested in the morning.
