The place is ok, service is not good at all. We asked for extra towels and necessities and never received it. Luckily we weren’t there all the time so it really didn’t bother us. If you know you’re going to be there probably all day I don’t recommend this place for you. It has potential if they would update the place. The live music is awesome I will say and the food was ok for my kids to eat.

About on par with many 3rd world dive “resorts” I have stayed at in the past. If you aren’t there for diving, there are lot’s of other nicer motels for the same $. Pros: Friendly staff Comfortable beds Great for diving instructions & trips to Looe Reef Famous Tiki bar where you can drink with locals. (Skip the food) Cons: Property is generally kinda shabby, overpriced and in serious need of renovations.

It was a nice place to stay. Close enoigh to Key West to drive and spend the day. Close to a beach to drive and stay for the day. Live music was good Friday night. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We will not stay here again. The pictures are deceiving. The refrigerator had sand inside of it. The microwave was rusted. The ac unit was so loud. There was no fan in the bathroom, so the air flow was horrible. One window had a curtain, and one did not. The one without the curtain had blinds that did not work. It definitely needs some upgrades. We went to the tiki bar the first night. Wouldn’t recommend. We asked for mimosas because they were on the menu, and the waitress said “We don’t have mimosas. Wrong menu.” I said “oh I thought I saw it on the website.” She said “I don’t care what the website says. The bartender won’t make that. We have margaritas, hurricanes, etc.” My friend ordered a margarita and I ordered a beer. The beer was good. She said her margarita was clearly from a mix. We also ordered a pizza. It was ok. They accidentally burned it, and the gentleman apologized and made us another one.

From Room to the dive boat was 20 Steps
Throwback styled motel, built in the 60s or 70s. Really clean and in good condition. Dive Master and Boat captain were great. They wonderfully allowed me a late checkout so I could shower and regroup after my morning dive. I wish my schedule allowed for another night here.

Great location felt safe and boat to dive and snorkel was just out our back door But no fan in bathroom and the exterior room door did not close tightly. But again great place for divers and snorklers

Unfortunately this property needs a redo. There were many issues including the bathroom door didn’t close, the microwave was gross, and the TV didn’t work. Also, there was a bar next door with loud music.i don’t recall seeing this on the listing. Cannot recommend this resort.
