Liked the original Kerala style room decor, location of the property and overall helpfulness of staff. Cafeteria and food was excellent as well.

We had a great experience staying at the hotel which was a perfect base for a few days exploring the area. Hotel set on top of mountain with great views, and facilities including lovely gardens and plants, an infinity pool and great restaurant with outstanding service. Paid a bit more for a larger room with a balcony. Excellent restaurant and menu with cookery and tea demonstrations. Delicious breakfasts and dinners supervised by chef Ram and attentive team of dedicated and helpful servers.

Binu and staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. From a personal walking tour of the grounds to wonderful food to making sure that I, as I woman traveling alone, had safe and trustworthy drivers, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Overall, the property was very nice and good value. Just a couple of maintenance related issues such as the balcony door was misaligned and was not easy to lock. The bathroom door was squeaky and the bright air conditioning light would not turn off with the remote. I also strongly recommend the management to consider putting some contrast strips on stairs. Just make it easier for people with low vision to navigate. Overall, the property is very nice comfortable, staff is very nice and friendly. Location is great. Food at this property is very good. Everything we tried on the menu was awesome. We tried mostly local Kerala cuisine at this restaurant.

The best part is the friendly and professional staff members. Also the property is gorgeous! We had our own bungalow and loved the privacy. Pool is big and lots of greenery on prem. Lovely stay! Also walking distance from bus depot to go into Periyar National Forest.

Hotel is nice and clean but service is sub par. Takes too long to get any items and little things like extra towels or toilet paper were hard to get
