This hotel stay was a mixed bag for me.
Cleanliness - the room itself had been cleaned well. There were some dark spots on the tile in the bathroom that were stains and I'm not sure of the cause but I was worried it might be mold. It didn't seem damp enough but it was a bit disconcerting. The pool area was clean. The main issue was throughout the hotel the carpets really need to be replaced. There are stains throughout the hallways and bedrooms and although I saw staff using a steam cleaner, the stains would not budge. We also found a few roly polies in our room, which makes me wonder about moisture.
Beds - the beds seemed quite firm when I first sat on them but ended up being extremely comfortable for my whole family and we slept well. There want a ton of hotel noise to bother us, especially with the A/C fan running.
Promised amenities - the A/C did an excellent job cooling the room even in 105 degree weather, which is a big deal. The breakfast was decent - eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels and toast were all available each morning. The meal wouldn't earn any culinary prizes but everyone in the family found something they liked and left full. The hot tub was out of order the entire time we were there which is a bummer because it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel over another. I get the impression it's been not working for some time.
I might stay here again, but would look around first for better deals/amenities.
