Chez Mathilde in Rarécourt

Our cottage is an independent accommodation part of our typical Lorraine house dating from the 17th century that we have restored keeping its old appearance with touches of modernity, on the edge of the Argonne forest and near Verdun. You can walk in the forest, listen to the birds, see a hare, a deer or other animals, fish in the river, go to the sites of the 1st World War Verdun: Douaumont, Vauquois. We are not very far from the champagne cellars (Reims, Epernay ...). Metz and Nancy. You can taste our little local wine, fresh eggs from the neighbor, homemade jams, Mirabelle brandy and many other specialties. We have a site you can consult. the surface of my cottage is around 85 m2 with a courtyard where there is the possibility of having meals with a barbecue and comfortable seats. There is a cot with all the equipment for the little ones; in the kitchen there is a dishwasher and washing machine and coffee maker, toaster, induction hob etc .....

Make yourself comfortable in this cottage, which features a fireplace. There's a private patio. A kitchenette is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.
