Great stay for the family
Had a great over night stay with family. We had a enjoyable swim after a easy check-in. We then had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants on site, nice foods decent portions. We selected breakfast options which was a good idea. Plenty of optionals from toast to full English and lots in between. Very enjoyable stress-free stay

Poor experience - was advertised as having a spa on site so booked for my wedding anniversary. Was actually a small swimming pool that was packed with kids. Ended up spending more to go to a real spa round the corner. Parking was also terrible, minimal spaces for such a large hotel, night manager advised I park on the pavement which again isn’t great. Mentioned this at checkout and was told the manager would contact me, obviously they never did. Poor.

Overall Good Stay
Great hotel very clean with welcoming staff. The bar & restaurant were very nice serving good food with generous portion size. The room was clean & tidy but unfortunately too hot & the shower wasn't great. The only other downside was one of the lifts was out of operation which meant queueing for the other as the hotel was pretty busy

Stayed for 2 nights, everything was fine. Final of Euros was shown in Monty’s lounge bar was able to eat and drink while watching the football on a large screen, lovely evening even though England lost. Will stay again next time we visit our daughter in Reading.
