Worst time in a long time.
We hace been staying at the Sands for over 35 years and never has it been this bad. Guests 2 floors down from us were constantly smoking marijuana on their balcony. It made it so that we could not sit on our balcony or even open our balcony door and enjoy the ocean air. Our room wnded up smelling like marijuana, to the point we had to open the balcony door after they were done, and the room door at the same time, just to air the room out.We did talk to the front desk multiple times on multiple occasions. They could not do anything unless they physically saw them. Another excuse was that the housekeepers dont speak english so they couldn't tell the front desk if they smelled anything. So we paid extra for the balcony room and could not use the balcony. And of course the manager wasnt going to be there until after we left. Very frustrating time, when we went to the beach in January to relax without the crowd.

We’ve enjoyed staying here between Christmas & New Year’s for about 4 years now and we enjoy our time but it’s definitely time to upgrade the mattresses!! They are so worn and uncomfortable…. Luckily we have 2 beds in the room…. And we each slept in the middle to get comfortable…

The only thing that concern me was the bathtub and shower area. I guess because of the bathtub being renovated at some point it has made it extremely concave and narrow which is extremely slippery and hard for any type of older individual to stand in without a rubber mat. The bottom of the tub is too rounded to be able to stand with both feet together and take a shower.

Our door was literally falling off the hinges. Tape was used to fix anything falling apart in the room. They mopped the elevator early in the morning and my wife fell down and hurt her shoulder. There was no wet floor sign, so I told the front desk and there was no concern if she was hurt at all.

Didn't realize I never submitted a review. Their was a stain on my bathroom mat and the toilet leaked; they never bothered to address either issue. The fire alarm went off three times my last night. No one apologized and the people (wedding party) who apparently caused the issue should have been evicted/arrested after the second occurrence at a minimum.
