Amazing hotel
Amazing hotel right in the busiest part of Oaxaca! Truly a gem! We were so impressed by the level of courtesy from the staff, the comfort and cleanliness of our room, and the amenities of the hotel! Would highly recommend and would stay again! It is on the pricier side of everything else in Oaxaca; but it was our honeymoon and also día de los muertos so we decided to treat ourselves and we definitely got what we paid for!

Property has the bones of a beautiful structure. Staff is not very competent or hospitable. Could not give us an estimate on check in so we kept asking, he kept saying “ I am waiting to hear from housekeeping”. Finally we were given keys at 3:30pm, well after check in time. Rooms are very dated - coffee machine is a traditional brew machine. Our room phone didn’t work. Yeah not great.

The grounds and hotel are quite beautiful and the location is perfect to walk to the best of Oaxaca. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room needs some TLC and updating . Bad general lighting in the room, the bathroom was very basic and the decor was very sparse. The restaurant was mediocre.

This former convent was beautiful and the service amazing. We were worried about noise due to all of the parties and parades in the streets but it was very soundproof.

Quinta Real is a beautiful hotel that is right in the center of downtown. You can walk to all the museums and historical landmarks of the city! We had a wonderful experience, we would absolutely book here again.

Quinta Real Oaxaca is an excellent option to enjoy a peaceful, well located and relaxing vacation. Their staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make you happy. Although there were weddings and other events happening during our stay, there were no issues with noise. Food is delicious and there are plenty of activities and tours to join if you want. Property itself is very well maintained and clean and it has lots of history. Gardens are beautiful. We will return for sure

The property is beautiful and impeccable. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, Eber was amazing and helped us plan transportation to Mazunte. Their courtesy corn bread was delicious and we had the most comfortable bed and pillows ever!
