We had an amazing week staying at the Fisherman's Village. Room was clean and had good facilities. Location was great being close to Reykjavik but quiet and peaceful. Hot tubs were nice, if busy, as you'd expect for shared tubs. Views were amazing and the sunsets and sunrises were worth the price alone. Would definitely come back.

This place was amazing! It was in a beautiful location and Very clean and modern . The back door opened up to the ocean and Icelandic horses!I will 100% stay here agin if I ever go back to Iceland .

This was one of the most unique and beautiful property, the only suggestion I have they need to open the dining room in front of the guest rooms. Guest rooms are very tiny that you can barely eat there

We recently returned from Iceland , stayed on our first 2 nights here in Fisherman’s Village , away from everything, quiet , views of the ocean , horses , plenty of parking - since we had a car it wasn’t an issue for dining . The lodging was quite comfortable, I was concern about the “ bunk “ bed but fine for 2 adults ( and a child if needed ) otherwise it’s enough space for a short stay . Bring shampoo , only shower gel no extra amenities but coffee pot , refrigerator was available. Really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and landscape

Location was beautiful but there's no restaurants or food for like 10 minutes. Check in also wasn't convenient - door wasn't unlocked as the email said it would be and took two calls to get someone over to let me in. Shower kept going super hot and then would cool off again.

Wonderful quaint place on the water. Beautiful rooms. It wasn’t clear to me that there are no staff on site and you are supposed to receive a message with your room details for self check-in. Was frustrating to have to drive back to town just to find out what room was assigned to us. If we didn’t have a rental car, it would have been a disaster. The accommodations, scenery, horses and hot tub/sauna were fabulous though.

What a pleasant surprise! We had no idea what to expect. We chose a place outside the city for a quieter - and more reasonably priced - location. Perfect! We look out on the water and we have a bunch of beautiful horses wandering around outside the door! Room is perfect. Hot tub is great. We are staying here for 3 nights - leapfrogging 1,3 &5 as we tour around. Would love to come back to Northern Lights. If you're looking for peace, quiet and beauty, this is the place.

We stayed in a room for four, and it was fantastic! The property stands alone on a peninsula, and our neighbors were a field of horses! Great views of the water, nice and dark at night (never saw the northern lights due to overcast conditions). Our room had a queen and two single beds, and a newly renovated bathroom. Hot tub and sauna were a great plus! We parked right outside our room which made it easy for loading and unloading. Check-in and Check-out were seamless, and the cleaning staff were super friendly! Only challenge we had were figuring out the locks on our doors (gotta read the instructions). Would highly recommend if you want to stay a bit outside of the city.

Very cute Viking theme accommodations, great space for a family of 4 ( kids stay up in a fun attic with 2 separate twin beds) . Only downside is that it is further away from Reykjavík downtown.

This was my second time in Iceland, and I really loved this property. We booked the Family Room with Private Hot Tub and Sauna, which was very spacious; however, the hot tub was directly outside of the main bedroom, and there is no signage/wall/gate or anything like that to show that's the "private" hot tub for that room, so tons of other guests were using it, which was kind of weird when you would go to open the blinds and there were just people in the hot tub. Otherwise the property was great.
