The staff was super nice and the front desk workers are very friendly. This is a great place to stay especially if you plan on seeing as much as possible in Reykjavik!

The location was great, but the facilities themselves are not good. The bathroom is terrible. It floods completely when you shower. The shower is so small you cannot move. The water stinks. The room is very drafty and you can hear everything outside the hotel as if it is occurring in your room. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.

Great Location. User-friendly. Directly across from Bus Stop #8 on the right side of Hallgrimskirja church (when facing it). Many restaurants and local shops nearby. Above all, very nice and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Excellent staff, very nice breakfast, clean hotel, centrally located. Main complaint, really, is the lack of an elevator (difficult when arriving/leaving with heavy bags). Also, few tour operators pick up in that area for some reason. It's near a highly touristic area full of shops and restaurants, and that was nice. Would use it again.

Great location but no elevator. My room was on the 4th floor and I had to carry all of my bags up. Additionally, the bathroom was extremely small and very difficult to use shower.

It’s nice to be in the city close to so much. However the second building would be better with an elevator and the complimentary tea/ coffee available ( instead of walking across the street with a cup in hand)

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Leifur Eiriksson. The room was perfect for a rest between sightseeing and the hotel was very conveniently located near a bus stop and multiple sights. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations. I also appreciated the coffee and tea available in reception. I would definitely stay here again!
