Decent inside, dirty outside
These apartments were nice inside and clean. However, there was a noise coming from the heating unit through the day and night that made it hard to sleep. Also, it is back in an alley and there is a fair amount of trash and other items strewn amount so it wasnt a very welcoming place from the outside. No elevators were difficult for the older folks in our group. The location and cleanliness were the main redeeming qualities.

Nice apartment but VERY noisy and located in an alley with trash and graffiti everywhere. Not a great immediate environment. Check in is contactless and easy. You have to take out your own trash end of stay or you’ll be fined.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Contactless checkin/out. Helpful phone support as we got stuck with the laundry machine which is a mystery, especially if you are used to the big/fast ones in the US. Overall a good stay but keep low expectations on the laundry :-)

The apartment was very well situated in the center of Reykjavik so easy to walk to restaurants, stores, small grocery store… Beautifully decorated and very comfortable with all you can need. The beds were comfortable and the sofa bed was like sleeping in a regular bed. We parked in the parking garage situated next to the apartment per host suggestion and it was very convenient.

We loved this area Dining options nearby were plentiful. Our apt was very cute and clean. It had everything we needed. One night after a long tour we did get locked out and had to borrow a phone and call. Assistance was available to get back in our room.

Walkable, comfort, location close to everything like rainbow street, church, shopping, grocery & downtown area. I love the kitchenette it save us a lot of money. The only cons is the parking you have to pay per hour or per day but it’s not really bad not overpriced they have a huge parking lot close to the apartment.

The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was comfortable for 4 and there was a local grocery practically on the doorstep. It was very centrally located. The only negative was that some unfortunately placed scaffolding made locating the property difficult.

The inside was very clean and the beds were comfy. It needed another stool or chair for the eating table and more hooks in the bathroom for clean clothes. It was very difficult to find because of construction scaffolding around a building at the entrance to the courtyard. Convenient to Bus stop # 6 and lots of shopping. Would stay again.

Excellent location and quiet place although in the middle of everything happening. Definitely consider using the kitchen, Iceland is VERY expensive! Reykjavik is a small city and you can walk to most places. Spacious abd comfortable bathroom.

This was such a a good location to see the sites in the city center. Bus stop number 6 is close by for drop off and pick up. Small grocery store was very close. Souvenir shops galore near by. We walked Rainbow street to the church, we walked to Harpa, the Parliament Building, City Hall. We were very pleased with the location. The apartment itself was clean and very comfortable, even the sofa bed. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was there. The communication with Ice Apartments was excellent. They even allowed us to leave our luggage at the base of the stairs after we checked out, until we were ready to leave. They also communicated during our stay to make sure everything was okay. It was an excellent stay!! I highly recommend the apartment! PS: The stairway, though steep, had a sturdy railing so the person in our group who had some issues with stairs felt safe.

It was easy to communicate with host via email and phone. The apartment is in a great location. We arrived early AM and was able to store bags at What’s On tourist information center just a few steps away. We would stay here again.
