We loved our family stay at Sand Hotel in the centre of Reykjavik. We were a family of five, the location was so convenient, the staff were friendly and knowledgable, the beds super comfortable plus I would highly reccomend adding the breakfast which set us up each day. When we come back from Sydney we will definately be back.

Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of the city. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, sights and the waterfront. The breakfasts are excellent and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Very nice hotel. Sand Holt Bakery and breakfast were very good. Some street noise. Clean and nicely appointed. No onsite parking. Would stay again.

The hotel is quaint. The room is a bit small. Need more lights. The breakfast buffet was so delicious. The service staff were great. Very accessible to shopping and restaurants.

Excellent location, hotel had cute boutique vibe, room was small but the bed was so comfortable! But the highlight was the breakfast in the morning - best we had during the 9 day trip. We would go to Iceland again just for that breakfast again.

Great hotel with super location. The only downside was a very loud bar with live band seemingly right beside our room. Don’t stay on the West side of hotel on Friday and Saturday if possible!
