Very quirky and cool place. Parking garage right next to the hotel. I loved the fact that at the end of the hall on our floor they had emergency shaving razors and toothbrushes. My wife forgot her make up remover and they had some of that there as well. Nice updated room

The lady at the front desk kept mumbling instead of talking to the point i continually had to say what/excuse me. The shower head had mold in it. The ac barely worked. And when i went to get snacks from their in hotel store the person at the desk had an attitude as if i my presence bothered them. The bed was horribly rough. And for the price the room is way to small.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Staff was accommodating and personable. The residents of the city however were terribly loud, very late into the early morning. I mean window shaking loud music and raucous crowds on the street corner well past 0330. Also their music choice sucked.

Booked this hotel months in advance and paid upfront. Waited over 30mins in line trying to check in. They only had one computer to check guests in. When trying to check into the hotel, I get told that they are overbooked and don't have a room for me. This was the case for other people waiting in line as well. The hotel also looks nicer online than in person. Don't recommend.

Not worth the cost.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Outside their control, the hotel was sub par at best. Food? Cucumber water was nice but the “food” selection seem like it was food 10 year olds. Also some prices were ok. Some were ridiculous. 7$ for juice??? Parking-Vague instructions and 15-20$/day. Room- Clean…but. Bed might as well been concrete. Blankets were Walmart special. The smoke detector light went off every 5 seconds and was really annoying when trying to sleep. Some room lights didn’t work. TV didn’t work due to losing signal every 30 seconds. Went for walk after check in. Came back to a guy running a camera drone looking into the rooms. Needless to say our nice top floor view was ruined and we kept the curtains closed all weekend. Pillows were garbage and each floor shares a “stash” of extras. Which are not maintained. Checked 3 times each day on more than just our own floor. Never any pillows. Room was indeed clean though. No bugs, bathrooms were nice. Though hard to not wake up partner with a barn door and loud echo into the room. The saving grace of the stay was the two local pubs.(Penny and Capital) their food and service were amazing. I get the idea of the hotel and the target audience. But first and foremost, you are a hotel…I shouldn’t have to go out of my way for the simplest of things. Especially not for 200$ a night(after taxes). Again employees were very nice and helpful even with recommendations to local activities, food etc. Will not be back next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Moxy Loved the bar and the lobby had a lot of fun things to look at and do. Wish the rooms had coffee makers tho, but bed was very comfy. The location was ideal for us to go to the National for a concert and close to many restaurants for dinner before. Will probably stay there again!

The first thing I noticed that the lines should are washed with either Gain or Tide detergent or another inexpensive option that I am unfortunately allergic too. I spend most night awake trouble breathing, and at 2 AM I began vomiting. The shower door did not stay closed wich made it difficult since the floor is so slippery that holding on to the handle while soaping as well as holding the door shut required an acrobatic act that I will never hope to repeat. Too many toxic chemicals floating throughout the hotel. Stepping into a gloomy hallway from the elevator is depressing.

We arrived at 3pm for check-in and our room was not ready. We waited at the check-in desk for an employee to tell us this information for nearly 10 minutes. No apology, just told us to wait until rooms were ready. We returned after our scheduled plans, only to be given a bunk-bed room without any heads up. I booked a queen room for 2 nights 2 months ahead of our stay. Unacceptable and unprofessional hotel. We will not be back and would not recommend.
