No hotels in Rillo de Gallo?! Yep. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If you see one let us know!

There's no need to stress out though. Tartanedo is located around 16 kilometres away and offers some sensational accommodations, including the Hotel Las Truchas and Hotel Balneario de la Virgen.

It's well known that Aussies are pretty laid back, so consider chilling out a little longer and going to the Nuestra Senora de Jaraba Sanctuary and the Jaraba Fountain in Calmarza, 30 kilometres to the north of Rillo de Gallo. The Sercotel Balneario Serón and Sercotel Balneario Sicilia are a few of the short and long-stay options here. Or, you could stay in Siguenza, 65 kilometres to the west of Rillo de Gallo, where you can choose from the Parador De Siguenza and Posta Real. If you're staying in Siguenza, set aside a little time to check out Plaza Mayor and Siguenza Castle.

Sitting 90 kilometres southeast of Rillo de Gallo is Teruel, a regional centre with a population of 35,000. It's home to some sweet attractions, like the Dinopolis Museum, the Teruel Museum and San Juan Plaza. Why not also see what's up at Teruel Cathedral and Torre de El Salvador? The Parador De Teruel and Hotel Suite Camarena are some of the recommended hotel options in Teruel.

So all you've gotta do now is put on your out-of-office and hightail it outta there. After all, you've worked like a trooper for a lastminute.com.au getaway to Rillo de Gallo, right?

Hotel Balneario de la Virgen
Nice hotel
4 / 5
The hotel itself is nice enough and we would have enjoyed the outdoor areas at and near the hotel with better weather. Annoyingly, the bar wasn't open in the afternoon and we noticed quite a number of people waiting when it did open. Strangely, the bar is not accessible through the hotel when the restaurant is closed, needing to walk around the front to get to. There must have been a large party booked in to the restaurant as it was full immediately after it opened so we had to wait an hour and a half for a table. Luckily the bar was open while we waited.
