The receptionist Leandro Cruz was the highlight of my experience. He is the absolute best!! When I arrived at the hotel I even thought about leaving because the place is old and the rooms were not great. But the staff there are so nice that made my stay truly enjoyable. I got an upgrade to a room that had a dry sauna and it was amazing. The roof and the gym have a nice view.
The hotel fotos does not reflext the reality of the hotel. For what i have paid it feels overpriced . The bathroom need some renewal. The restaurant was not clean.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Pictures are not accurate to the place, Staff is not accommodating with terrible service, highly recommend any other place not even worth any cheaper price.
I loved the staff, the front desk guys are extremely helpful, the cleaning lady’s are awesome too, there’s tons of food areas around and the beach is super close. I wasn’t a fan of the homeless, beggars and sellers everywhere and if you want to avoid that go to Ipanema or leblon will be the cleanest but triple the price. The only issue I had was the steam room being stinky but everything else was great. The staff and breakfast is half of why I’d stay there again
The staff was super helpful, the front desk administration was also very polite, nice and were able to communicate with me in any language I needed, spanish, portuguese or english.
The bellman staff also were really personable and helped me as a first timer in Brazil, walked me to certain locations so I felt safe and could get to know the surrounding area better.
Phenomenal experience. Big shoutout to Bruno the bellman.
Hotel was much older and worn down than pics. Bedroom 1107 smelled of sewage the whole week. Walla has mold. Loud noise from water pipes when using sink. Bidet did not work. No kettle or iron available for use. Breakfast food was terrible and same
Things. Don’t go after 9 am as it’s super crowded and it’s a feeding frenzy stampede. Breads not tasty, fruit not ripe, slimy eggs, super thick bacon that breaks your teeth. Food so bad even tea bags were awful and needed to use two of them for my cup of tea!! Front desk staff rude and blunt. Other staff nice . Rooftop steam room
Never worked the whole week there. Decent view, but very little of beach and water . Power outage one morning for hours during breakfast stampede. Wasn’t fun walkimg 11 flights of stairs . Ask for lower floor.

Liked: Cleanliness
The breakfast was very good has plenty options but the hotel conditions wasn’t that good for the price is not a good place to rest
The staff was very good in accommodating.
I had a smaller room and upgraded for a very Good price for my ten days stay.
My room actually had a hot tub and a sauna.
I had two double beds.
I only used one of the beds. The other one had a broken leg and one of the jets on the Hot tub was not working.
The pool area is nice., But they really need to get some more lounge.Chairs ten to twelve more would be good.
There are only three right now and they are broken.
I use the gym frequently. And they actually put a new treadmill in while I was there.
There is other equipment That needs to be replaced because it is broken.
They have a nice little lobby bar but it is not used at all.
The free breakfast that is included is great and they do a nice job of getting the people in and out and stocking the food and keeping it hot.
There are many rooms at this hotel And I'm sure it is a challenge for the maintenance.People to keep up with everything.
The house keeping staff to the great job!
This property is a little deceiving from the photos. It’s a pretty standard high rise hotel, service was fine but the room itself left us wanting. The box spring of the bed was exposed and severely damaged. We were provided a sheet and one thin fleece blanket. When we asked for more bedding we only got an additional fleece blanket, no comforter/duvé. The bathroom door was splitting at the top from wear people have clearly hung their wet towels because there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything. And finally, the bathroom faucet leaked our entire stay. It was fine, but for the price in that area, I expected a nicer room/accommodations
