Enjoy complete privacy at Hidden Creek Cabin. Total seclusion and the crystal-clear Frio River make this property a magical place for entertaining and relaxing. Century old oaks provide a shady area to barbecue or enjoy a campfire under the stars. Take a walk on our nature trails where abundant wildlife can be seen or stroll down to the river and watch the fireflies come out at night. Hundreds of deer, turkey and many other species of wildlife can be seen throughout the day from the porch.

great time!
the listing was just as described! it was cute and cozy. Could get to the river easy & it was right down the road from Garner State Park, and 30 mins or so to Lost Maples State Park as well! The only suggestions I would really make is, make it easier to locate your office to sign in, we almost missed our time to sign in because there is NO cell signal in the area & the sign for the office is so far back you'll miss it if you don't look hard enough. I'd also suggest a better grill, the one out there is more of a smoker & if you just wanna grill some burgers it takes a lot of charcoal, lol!

This is such a peaceful, relaxing and private place. Escaping the city to enjoy our retirement. Enjoyed eating outside surrounded by the woods. Yet Close to the river to just laze around. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect spot for river vacation.
The cottage would be a comfortable river vacation home for a big family or two families. The outdoor space was cozy. We were greeted by a family of deer upon arrival and had fun watching hummingbirds, doves, etc. Husband enjoyed grilling outdoors. they also had a nice fire pit for campfire at night. We had to bring all the linens, towels, shampoo, etc but we knew that beforehand and that was not a problem for us. Kitchen had cooking utensils and pots and pans, etc. We also appreciated being able to bring our large dogs.
