This is a real desert trip.
Touareg camp is an exceptional camp for the Sahara trip. First, we didn't want to go to Sahara with other typical 3-days-desert package trips out there and we wanted to make it ourselves. So we booked this camp for 5 days stay.
The camp manager, Salah, helped everything for us to make all the way to the Sahara desert from Marrakech. From the airport, get a bus, picked up by a jeep. The teamwork was fantastic so we reached Sahara with 0 problems. He answered all our questions and requests, which gave us a big peace of mind to travel this mystery country.
In the Sahara camp, the dream comes true. This camp is located at the nearest place to the Sahara desert so you can have a unique authentic Sahara camp trip. You can just go for a walk in the morning in the desert. You will have a real desert, which has nothing or everything, a magical place. Mostafa's team in the camp was the best and kind tour team ever. They made us comfortable and didn't mind bringing us to their daily routine work like taking care of camels, getting water and supply, and so on. It was a real-life nomad people. I really appreciate their guidance and letting us have all the experience. Thanks again.

I mainly liked it cause it felt closer to Touareg culture, than a regular camping with all the facilities as if you were in a regular hotel. It’s a bit further away than other camping sites, which makes it more exciting. Mustafa, the host is amazing. Funny and ready to help. He’s also a great guide. Take the tour with him: he explains you many things about Amazir and Touareg people. I would come back every year, if I could.

Ho avuto modo di poter provare il campo tendato e devo dire che sono davvero rimasto stupito dalla gentilezza e dalla ottima accoglienza del personale.
La camera è ottima, il bagno nella tenda è davvero comodo e funziona tutto perfettamente: mi sono stupito di come l'acqua calda funzioni anche di sera tardi.
L'accoglienza è superba, la colazione e la cena ottime. Inoltre dopo la cena è stata una bellissima esperienza riunirci tutti attorno al fuoco a sentire i beduini cantare e ballare.
Noi abbiamo anche potuto anche apprezzare l'escursione a pagamento nel deserto col cammello: non ci hanno portato fino a dentro il vero deserto ma siamo arrivati fino in cima alla duna più alta all'entrata del deserto, è stata un'esperienza da provare.
Il campo si trova sul perimetro del deserto in quanto ormai per legge non si può più fare campi tendati in mezzo al pieno deserto ma solo sul perimetro. E' tutto ben organizzato e le tende davvero tenute bene.
Lo consiglio davvero.
