A unique property, a double lot nestled in the Belomont hillside, a short ride or walk up the hill from some of the most secluded and stunning beaches in the world.

Climb the hill, than the dauntingly steep driveway, which levels off to voila, our creme dela creme cliffhanger casa, 200 degree waterviews, calming natural tones shower the villa, as we chose to let mother nature bring her gorgeous colors to you. This is NOT your stereotypical Caribbean Crayola bright house. With our wide-open floorplan, clean desgin and atteniton to natural tones, the colors of nature that surround the villa will intoxicate your eyes everytime they open from a blink.

The sensory underload of Creme colored adorrnments and atonements allows for the mother nature sensory overload, of which we travel 1000s of miles to hopefully immerse ourselves in for the ultimate soul rejuvenation.

The Villa is set toward the top of the mountain overlooking the sea with stunning 200-degree Views of Jost van dyke, Great Thach, and Sandy Spit. At this elevation and facing north we are blessed with a steady sea breeze. To the east we get a wonderful view of the north shore Tortola coastline. Apple bay, Carrot bay, and Cane Garden Bay, At Night when these small fishing villages are lit it paints a stunning nightscape with the lighting dancing in the sea surf.
On the first floor we have 2 studio bedroom spaces with private “outdoor” bathrooms and patios all with views of the sea. The 2nd floor consists of 3 pavilions. To the east is the Great room consisting of the Kitchen and Living Room. The pool and pool patio are in the center of the Villa. The pool patio connects all the rooms on the 2nd floor. The Master suite pavilion is on the west side and the Pool suite which is set just behind the swimming pool is in the center. A stairway leads you up to the 3rd floor which consists of a lovely private bedroom, bathroom suite with a seating arrangement on the front balcony. Four of the five shower in the villa are open air with only the pool bath boasting an indoor shower.
A favorite pastime is watching the sailboats gracefully traverse across the wonderful vista as the weather clouds and rainbows provide the perfect backdrop all emanating from the Sage mountain just to the east.

The Villa boasts Italian Marble floors. Screens at all openings that retract to disappear from the openings, not to impede the view and many lighting options for all the spaces. The lighting options are LED, INCANDESCENT- EDISON, and SOLAR. This is a place so serene you will feel like you don’t want to go out. But please do enjoy the many marvelous restaurants in the area.

The property was beautiful and clean, with incredible views. However, accessing it was problematic. The road was extremely steep, making it impossible for the bus to reach the property. Guests must walk up a steep hill with all their suitcases and packages to reach the house. Transportation is very limited due to the property's isolated location at the top of the mountain. Renting a car is not advisable unless you are a local, as driving there is quite challenging. Additionally, the taxi that was supposed to pick us up for the airport never arrived. Thankfully, Clifford, the property manager, helped us find an alternative taxi. However, this new taxi driver was not familiar with the area. While reversing, the car got stuck at the edge of a cliff, creating a very frightening situation. The driver attempted to free the car from the rocks, but it only dug deeper. We decided to get off the bus for fear it might fall off the cliff. Fortunately, Clifford, who had a truck, helped pull the bus and resolved the situation. Moreover, the property's location on the island is not clearly communicated. We were staying at the Moorish Port in Road Town, Tortola. The map suggested that the property was near Road Town, but it is actually in the far west part of the island, 50 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Road Town. This distance incurs extra costs because taxis are very expensive there. I thing the property owner should be more transparent about this details.

BEAUTIFUL VIEWS IN BELMONT ESTATES!!!
While planning a last minute getaway, We were lucky enough to find Villa Del Mar!! The owners were great to work with and the caretaker was always available to take care of any needs!!! A beautiful island built home with everything you could ask for (except a dishwasher) Amazing views from almost every room! Hope we get to visit again soon!!
