Located in a light-industrial/commercial district 1.5 km outside the quiet but picturesque old village Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres. Don't expect to go strolling, but a good base for day-trips into Provence (you will need a car).
The hotels is modern, a bit arty. Could use a few easy chairs to offset the stylish but noisy dining chairs. Adequate breakfast, but no lunch or dinner service.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, free parking. The rooms and the hotel in general were clean. The check in at the reception was smooth. We had a dinner at a nearby restaurant recommended by the staff and it was quite nice. The only downside is the location, which is kind of middle of nowhere but perfect for one night stay while on the road. Overall we had a pleasant stay here.
We chose the hotel after the apartment we had rented proved unsatisfactory because, among other things, it had no air conditioning. We arrived late and starving, and with the kitchen closed. But Charlene, God bless her, managed to whip up some chicken in tomato sauce and two bottles of ice-cold rosé. We slept as if we were dead!
The hotel was a bit out of the way from the city but we had a car and the location was close enough to the city to still make it convenient. The room and bathroom were big and comfy and clean.
On first appearance, the big Buddha head by the entrance is quite funky. Contemporary styled hotel with budhha pictures abd ornaments throughout but generally nice touches. The outside car park is very big and secured in the evenings with a password protected gate after 10pm. The staff are very nice and helpful. Our first evening, we had arrived around 9:45 and the receptionist was ready to leave her shift at 10 but she was very attentive and helpful indeed. The room was very clean, nice big bathroom and power shower and wonderful air con!. nice views of the country and vineyards. Quiet and peaceful room. Would stay again next time.
It's a thai style hotel in France, interesting! The room is basic with aircon and is ok. However, there's issue with the shower arrangement which basically the toilet area is flooded once you finish your shower.
I just needed a hotel for one night to explore the area and got huge value for money. The room was small and basic but it rated way above average in comfort, with a very clean modern/asian-influenced design and a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was extra but good value, with the usual quality of a French hotel breakfast. Location was very convenient. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
The hotel was new and modern and clean! The staff are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The hotel is located inbetween Chateauneuf Du Pape and Avignon and there is a little town next door with a good restaurant. Its a little isolated but out of the hustle and bustle of Avignon which we were grateful for. Beds and pillows not the most comfortable but breakfast was good.
