Clean and inexpensive
This is a remodeled older hotel. The rooms are large and clean. It is well-run, and the staff is very helpful. We stay here because you can't beat the price. I would rather stay in an older hotel that is clean than a newer one that is not clean.

My grandson and I were very comfortable. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times before and also been comfortable. It is our preferred hotel when we visit our son in Stewartville.

Bugs and no real breakfast
Woke up with tiny bug bites all over my hands and arms. Breakfast consisted of individually packaged donuts and uncrustables from big box stores. Overall, not worth the price.

This place was surprisingly grimy. The breakfasts were basically sugar. The coffee was bitter. The toilet was appropriate for very short females. The water smelled of rotten eggs. Avoid this disaster of a property.

Shabby motel
The motel is small, shabby, and old. The parking lot needed resurfacing and many of the spaces were blocked off by the motel. The outside of the motel had lots of peeling paint. The main area was dingy and the furnishings were old, and in poor condition. In the morning no real breakfast was set out. The color scheme throughout the motel was a jarring combination of 70's burnt orange, brown, pea green and harvest gold, all jumbled together. The room was clean, but had an odd odor that lingered in my clothes and luggage. The man at the front desk was not very helpful, and had a strong accent that was difficult to understand.

You get what you pay for.
We were looking for a cheap place to just spend the night. The room was very affordable compared to other hotels in the area. It did come with breakfast, but there wasn't much to pick from.
