Secluded Getaway with Hot Tub, Cliffs on 5-acre Ravine in Hocking Hills

Rocky Ridge is a warm, spacious cabin clad in rustic cedar siding. The interior features a northwoods theme complemented by sturdy log furniture. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room overlook the wooded ridgetop property and flood the space with tons of natural light. A large, elevated open air deck off the back provides a bird's eye view of the surrounding peaceful forest. Upgrades include leather couches, granite countertops, skylights, WiFi Internet and free long distance calling. A fully stocked, modern kitchen awaits those guests wishing to dine in. In the living room, a gas burning fireplace adds ambience and warmth.

Rocky Ridge's layout consists of three levels. The living/dining areas, kitchen, one bedroom and one full bathroom are located on the main level. The large deck is located off the main level as well. A second bedroom (enclosed, not a loft), a half bath and a small reading area are located on the upper level. A lower level finished basement provides access to the covered hot tub deck. Although the cabin has three levels, comfortable one level living for guests needing as few stairs as possible can be achieved on the main level.

Rocky Ridge is located in a peaceful corner of the Hocking Hills in area surrounded by large expanses of forest. Outdoor loving couples and small families will undoubtedly enjoy the closeness to Mother Nature. Easy access to the cabin from a lightly traveled county road and to area attractions makes Rocky Ridge the perfect base for setting out on all of your area adventures. Rocky Ridge will accommodate 4 adults, but is nicely sized for couples wanting a little more room to spread out.

Our stay was nice. The cabin is a great size and many amenities are there for your utilization. Most kitchen supplies you could need are provided, but some foil and Saran Wrap would be helpful as well as a countertop cleaning solution like Lysol spray. The hot tub is in good, working quality and clean. The interior is overall clean.It gets quite chilly downstairs in the game area, so an electric fireplace downstairs would be a great addition. We didn’t need the grill, but did note there was not propane for it if you do intend to grill. The checklist for checkout is also very reasonable.

Beautiful cabin and stunning location! Perfect for our family. Loved the grill, fire pit, hot tub, deck, and pool table. Check in process was easy and the owner were friendly and quick to respond. Beautiful location and cabin! We came here on our honeymoon. There were a few minor issues with the cabin. The hot tub had a lot of chlorine/chemicals that we couldn’t stay in for more than 5 minutes at a time, or take deep breaths without coughing and our eyes watering. 3 out of the 4 folding chairs out by the fire were broken. We wish we could have gotten more hot tub time in, but If you’re looking for a serene, relaxing stay, I definitely recommend this cabin.

My husband and I were gifted this trip and we wanted to be secluded but close to things. We absolutely loved the location. You could hear some road noise when outside but not busy roads so it was not intrusive. We felt comfortable and at home as soon as we walked in. Everything wea well kepy and clean. Internet works but is slow which was gine for us as we wanted to umplug. It gave us everything we needed. When I did reach out to hoat, he was so friendly and responded quickly. We loved the drive to the cabin and to the attractions but we just enjoyed the scenery along the way..highly recommended and would book again.
