Booked for two nights. Within 5 hours we asked them to move us to another hotel. Do not stay here. I was accused of being rude, poor internet and very hit and miss WiFi .. could not cast or stream, tv channels are not in English though was told they were, the manager came to see us, offered us a hotel 40 min into Rome at our expense. We stayed here for the closeness to the airport. We then at our expense booked Best Western and this is heaven compared the Academy. Once again, trust us, do not stay at the Academy. Oh, no bar and no restaurant yet it advertises these things!

The room was pretty horrible but the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was terrible mold in the shower stall and the mildew smell was overpowering. We would never stay here again!

Although a modest hotel it was recently renovated and very clean. Attractively done. The staff is very helpful too. We thought it was closer to the airport but it wasn’t -nevertheless the well priced hotel shuttle was a good option.

Staff does not answer the phone. Hot water lasts for 5mins, maybe. The patio door was left open by staff. Shuttle service is a joke. Room looked like it needed serious maintenence. The air conditioner was broken and was not stated until asked. Walls are paper thin.

Airport shuttle was very punctual. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Good AC. Comfortable bed. I picked the hotel because it said the rooms were soundproofed. But they are not. You can hear people talking in the hallway. Our room was small. The bathroom had mold in the shower tile grout. Overall - it sufficed for our overnight layover.

The staff was very sweet but the listing said there was a bar and restaurant and there were neither. There were many good restaurants nearby but we were surprised by the misinformation. It was one of the reasons we selected the hotel as after a long day of travel easy onsite access to food and a drink is helpful.

Hotel was very clean. Reception always available. Excellent choice of fine restaurants within walking distance. Best of all, only a few km from the Fiumicino airport

Location was the most important factor for us on this trip. The hotel was close to the airport and the beach. We could walk to the beach on our beach day. And when it came time to go to the airport, there was a shuttle at a reasonable price to transport us there.

The staff at the hotel was helpful and courteous. My issue was with the the cleanliness of the shower. The shower was full of mold and what appeared to be rust stains.

Our room was not cleaned well on check in- coffee stains on the bedside table and bathroom walls were dirty. Could hear lots of noise from the hallway and the dishes being set up in the morning for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They beyond to help us sort out transit into Rome and the airport.
