We had a great stay. Don't let the "1 star" rating discourage you from booking this hotel which is charming, clean and very convenient to notable landmarks. We weren't familiar with the area when we booked the hotel, and found it to be less "touristy" with restaurants that locals frequented. We felt very comfortable walking around the area, even after dinner at night. Our "standard double room" was more spacious than other hotels we've previously stayed in. The hotel is easily walkable to Termini station. The room was quiet (no noise from other guests), the hot water was plentiful; the air conditioning was quiet/chilly and the mattress/pillows were comfortable. Mohammad at reception provided us with valuable tips on the area, was proficient, helpful and congenial. (Thank you Mohammad - it was great meeting you and you added great value to our stay.) When we return to Rome in two years, we plan to stay at this hotel again.

If your plan is to use this hotel for touring Rome - and Rome as a base for nearby places, hotel is excellent. 5 mins to the main railway station, 5 mins to three Metro lines, places to eat, drink and two supermarkets. In my opinion, this may not be the right place for a family with very young children. The hotel can be quiet "busy" both last thing at night and first thing (from 0600) in the morning. The area surrounding is also busy with tourists, people in restaurants and people passing by. But, I would 100% stay again. Great place, clean and the AC worked perfectly. A brilliant place to see Rome and the local area from!

The staff are great! We loved the area. It’s the perfect spot close to restaurants, churches and shopping. The hotel is located in a small street with cobblestone. Simply beautiful. The cleaning lady is very thorough! The downfall are the tiny elevators, one luggage at a time. The stairs are very large and wide. The hotel has the cutest seating areas on both levels. The only issue we had was the air conditioning. The front desk controls it upon your request. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

We stayed at this location due to the close proximity of the train station. We arrived a little early, but the front desk agent was able to accommodate us and only had to wait about 30-40mins for a room. The building is old of course, but has been renovated. At first it seemed unbearable with the room temp, but we called and the front desk quickly changed our temp from the min of 25C to a min of 15C. Staff didn’t provide much information, but they were nice when we had questions.

Stay was nice , room was big and tidy .Front stuff was incredible, friendly and went above and beyond to help out . Special mention to Mohammed who went out of his way to help out with recommendations and hidden gems in the city. Hotel is close to restaurants and the main train station to get you anywhere you want. Cleanliness could be improved as the room was cleaned but towels were not changed after 2 nights and we had to ask the front desk.

We had a great 3-night stay. Very convenient location. Charming boutique hotel. Mohammed at the front desk was very helpful, professional and pleasant. Thank you Mohammed - great service! The room was quiet, clean, spacious by European standards, lots of hot water, fridge was cold, bed was comfortable, air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. Good value for the money. We really liked the area. We would definitely return.

Great little hotel on tiny street near Termini train station. Near Santa Maria Maggiore church, restaurants, cafes and hop on hop off buses. Well maintained building and clean.

The room that we stayed in was very small and did not feel like a Superior Double Room. We had booked 3 nights but checked out after only 1 night. The air conditioner was so noisy that we could not sleep if the air was running. If we turned the air conditioner off, then the room became so hot that we could not sleep. After we turned off the light at night we heard a rodent in the room nibbling on something. The mattress had severe pilling, which could be felt through the bottom sheet when in bed. My wife woke in the morning after the first night with a bite of some kind on her cheek. The shower was so small, that we found it difficult to squeeze in with the doors open as far as they could be opened. After the first night we asked reception if they had another room and they said they were fully booked. This left us with no option other than to book into another hotel on short notice. When we returned home, I wrote a detailed complaint email to the hotel asking for a refund for the 2 unused nights accommodation, but the hotel manager did not even have the courtesy to reply.

The location is very central to a lot of restaurants. It is in walking distance to the colosseum and Roman forum. Note however the roads leading to the hotel are often crowded and might be a downhill/uphill journey so practically it is not easy to walk with large suitcases. As for the hotel itself , some front desk staff are a little more helpful than others. One the first day of check in our WiFi didn’t work but the problem was fixed and the bathroom had no toilet paper but once we called the front desk that was resolved. I had a standard room , if you are just looking for a place to sleep as opposed to lounging all day in the room for comfort then the room is fine for that purpose. The showers are EXTREMELY small . I am 5ft 2inch at 140lbs and could barely find room to turn in the shower or close the shower door. So if you are a person of a larger body size this might not be the room for you ( not sure if a higher room categories have larger showers)
