Loved house, lovely lady ann, would recommend to anyone to stay

Great stay at the Talbot, comfy modern rooms, great food and brilliant staff who could not have done more to make us feel welcomed. Cannot wait to stay again when we next visit ROI.

We had a very nice time even though the location was not quite as convenient to amenities as expected. The only negative was the cottage was cool in the evening and overnight. We mentioned this but owner said there were extra blankets, however we couldn’t see how that helped unless we were in bed. We also did not like the fact that all the furniture was shrouded in covers.

I’d give 10 stars if I could! We had the most wonderful two week stay here. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed and has plenty of space for human guests and for our dogs, they loved it just as much as we did. The area is outstanding, quiet and peaceful with beautiful empty beaches within walking distance or a short drive from the house. On our first day, we saw a pod of dolphins that put on a spectacular display for us 🐬 Belmullet is a lovely wee town with exceptional restaurants and cafes, delicious food & staff who couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The local people are really friendly, stopping to pass the time of day and making time for each other, something that is a thing of the past in other places I have visited. Such a special place and very heartwarming. Our host Yvonne was excellent with her communications and if she could help in any way, she would. Checking in was easy and there was a very thoughtful welcome gift on our arrival. Yvonne allowed us to fix some wire to the gate so our dogs would be kept safe. We really appreciated being able to do that 🐾 We were so very lucky with beautiful sunny weather for most of our stay, so we have come home feeling totally refreshed and the five hour drive was well worth it. If I had one recommendation, it would be for the caretakers of this beautiful house to ‘up their game’ by way of cleaning (hence only giving 4* for cleanliness) and presentation. Thank you Yvonne.

Traveling from the US with two young kids (2 and 4 years old) it was so nice to have two bathrooms, a kitchen and the extra space. The hosts are very friendly, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were comfy.
