We booked this property specifically for the indoor pool and there was no mention that it wouldn't be working until we checked in. We stayed over Thanksgiving when nothing is opened and needed this pool. Very disappointing and they did not make it right or allow us to cancel so we could go somewhere with a pool.

Poor parking
Was very disappointed in parking situation. Full moving vans towing a car took up one side of the lot. A orange bus took up another portion of the lot. I was asked to park at Buffalo wild wings parking overnight or on the street. When I asked to move the construction cone over one slot was told not to. But then when I woke up. 2 additional cats had moved the cones and parked. Those big moving vans and busses should be asked to park on the street if your parking is already limited. Then people straddling multiple spots.

The manager was able to get us a handicap room which I so appreciated and gave us a discounted rate since we had to wait awhile for our room to be ready! The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly!

I would give it 5 stars except it rained for hours breaking an over 100 year record and one of the elevators started leaking through a light socket. I was very happy that when I informed the staff they immediately put up a sign asking guests not to use it due to water damage. The other thing is when it rains whoever designed the hotel’s gutter system designed it to drain right over where people enter and exit. Terrible engineering faux pas. I left out the front and got completely and utterly drenched because I didn’t realize I was I was going to be walking right under where the gutter was discharging. Also, just my own opinion after having lots of different hotel breakfast experiences, the breakfast is just so/so.

Overall the hotel was decent. We ended up staying at the last minute because we didn't feel safe at our airbnb. They were very friendly and even gave us a little doggy bag full of treats and a toy for our dog. The area felt very safe and is located directly across the street from the UFO McDonald's. It is close to all of the shopping areas and UFO exhibits which is why we had traveled there. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. If I ever planned to go to Roswell again, I would stay there.
