all good. A tip re GPS.
We had a deluxe room, so i can't speak for standard. But ours was fine, everything worked, nice bed, brekky good. the only thing is don't put "rydges" into your GPS, put the street address, as the GPS will take you to the old Rydges about a km away.

Why would you keep a hotel running when you know the air-conditioning system is not functioning for days? And no apologies at all? First I was put in a room where the sun hits the room all afternoon. Within 30 minutes of checking in, me and my family were sweating. I was moved to another room which was 'okay' in the afternoon but we just could not sleep at night. This is just not how customers are treated. We are here in NZ from the US on a week long holiday and the first two nights we just did not sleep. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I was most impressed with the hotel staff. They were friendly, very accommodating and handled special requests quickly and without hesitation. We had a really nice stay there and they had two hot tubs and a pool that we took advantage of.
