We booked our first room which we moved from one the second night due to it not being cleaned properly the new room Shannon gave us was incredible thanks so much first day here cleaning service was great today wasn’t as great. My mum also checked in today to also come across her room had not been cleaned went to use mugs to make a cup of tea and it still had the previous persons drink in it the other cup had hot chocolate on it. Dining staff I found I had to ask for a high chair third time asking I gave up and just fed my daughter on my lap. Overall I think the cleanliness of the rooms is where attention is most needed

A fun getaway for a family with children. The playroom and the heated pool during winter kept the children and adults happy and occupied. Other activities were offered by the hotel like bikes for bike riding. Rooms were good. The bathroom had a bit of wear and tear. Shower is also a bath, so it was a bit tricky to step in for the children. There were non slip mats for the shower provided to reduce slips in the bath tub. Laundry facility was good but busy in the evenings. Will definitely return back when we’re back in Aotearoa.

Audrey front desk excellent. Restaurant staff and waiters the best , friendly and efficient, lovely clean restaurant and awesome chef . Delicious meal and breakfast buffets highly recommended, variety and delicious. Heaps of parking and car was safe in the morning. Beautiful outside heated pool open until 930pm and the outside spa, needs spruce up, but after a long drive super awesome on weary bodies. I recommend super deluxe room in the new build area as the first room , one bed double was run down. But if you’re not too fussy the bed looked clean and fresh.

Ran out of towels for the entire weekend - there was no reasoning behind it on Saturday other than ‘people are hoarding towels’ and they had to wait for house keeping to come in on Sunday to sort it - wasn’t sorted by checkout time at 11am. We had to reuse our wet towels from the pool and the kids were not happy about that.
