The room was clean enough and the staff was nice, but there were issues. We evacuated from Hurricane Helene and stayed 2 nights, during the stay the Bistro was completely closed in the hotel "because of the storm," the whole stay, Wednesday - Friday. So, that perk I paid for was not available and I was still charged a .44 cent daily "Restaurant Tax." Breakfast was a paper bag with a prepackaged muffin, rotten orange and bottle of water. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the floor above us creaked with every footstep of the guest above us, it was so loud and uncomfortable. The 1st floor appeared to have had some type of water leak/damage that was being repaired and mitigated, the wall paper was ripped up along the bottom of the walls and rooms were being aired out and cleaned by a service company. It was a place to lay our heads, but not worth the $566 I paid and will not stay again.
