We were very fortunate to be able to speak with Marv Herzog's widow for quite some time. She was very interesting and made the trip even more enjoyable. Everything else was great.

Charming little hotel. Nice room, comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor spaces avaliable for breakfast and they may have had evening refreshments but i was not there for them. There was a lovely hot breakfast and everyone was very nice.p

The rooms are quite dated. Breakfast was dissappointing. Happy hour consosted of 2 ounce servings of wine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Mattresses seemed quite old and in need of replacement.

the hotel isn't as good as it was before Drury Inns bought it. The breakfast was Ok, actually nice not to spend $20 eating at one of the local cafes.

The staff and outdoor areas were a great draw. The rooms, however have not been updated since the 1970's. The beds were like laying on ironing boards and no sound proofing between floors! Very noisy. You are definitely paying for where the hotel is, in a beautiful setting along the river.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The evening reception and breakfast were awesome. Everybody was very helpful and friendly. The balcony off our room was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.
