Comfy bed
Late check in details sent to me and made very straight forward
Only concern would be no house keeping during my three night stay.
Comfortable, clean and quiet, but the hardest hotel to get in and out of that I've ever experienced. Multiple code-locked gates and doors and a car park gate that not even the receptionist had a remote control for.
We had a very nice stay for a week. It was perfect for our stay as we were attending the Ryder Cup. We visited Paris for a few days as well. The ‘hotel’ is not as I would put it. You rent an apartment. There is no service at all. Towels etc are provided but they are not changed. You can wash things yourself in the communal area. The room was clean and tidy but very basic. Good hot water for a shower. This was not a problem for us as we were up early everyday and out. You have your own facilities to modestly cook something. There is a supermarket a short walk up the road. The bus service is very good to get to the train station and from there you can get anywhere using your travel pass. Overall it was a good stay but not somewhere I would book for a holiday.
I was giving a disabled room which had two single beds but could not be joined because there's no space to merge them - very narrow room. Plus I paid the higher price for a double room. My invoice amount is also different to the amount paid. Saw an house fly in the room - The room was never cleaned throughout my stay, had to put the bin in the bathroom.
The microwave is rusty and you have to cover your food in it for fear of rust drops. The WIFI never worked so I was without connectivity throughout my stay, upon asked a neighbor, I was told the hotel management complaining about a development next door for the lack of signal around the estate.
Shower head is old and water came out with so much force, it felt like a little stone drop. This hotel really is bad... This was my second stay because I wanted a place where I could cook. Will never stay again
Excellent value-for-money accommodation in suburb of Versailles. Good train link to Montparnasse.
Cook your own local produce or okay restaurants. Bit difficult to find as it is confused by the locals for Hotel L'Aeotel
We enjoyed that the room had a nice kitchen, but I would never recommend this place to anyone! My main reason is that every time we tried to shower there was NO HOT WATER! What kind of hotel has limited hot water! I was so so so sick and after a day spent in the rain wanted to shower, and there was never hot water! Of the three days we stayed there we got hot water once! Absolutely ridiculous, we just kept waiting and thinking it would eventually come, but never did ! The receptionist was gone during the listed hours and we had to wait often! We asked for help with a taxi and she offered one she knew, and it happened to be the most expensive taxi ride ever ! We thought that by offering us help, we wouldn't be ripped off! We paid about 80 euro for a 17 min ride! Outrageous! We say spend a bit more elsewhere ! Not worth the savings !!!!!
I needed a nice quiet room that was not too expensive. I was very happy that I had a small kitchen as well. As I like to eat some of my meals in. The grocery store and bakery were close by. It was a bit of a walk to restaurants and the train station into Paris but that for me was all fine. There is a bus that stops right in front if you wanted to take the bus. I would like to have the room information on how to adjust the heat and internet info in an english document.
The location was very convenient. There is a grocery store a very short walk away and other shops nearby. It was nice having a kitchenette in the room and a laundry on site. The staff was always helpful.
This was a great value. No frills. The largest bathrooms I've seen in France. No AC, but the windows work just fine. Odd place mentioned of the microwave -- kids won't be using it. The biggest problem is that there is no one at the front desk for weekend check in or checkout.
Good overall but limited check in time and poorly marked so difficult to find. Further away then anticipated. Very nice staff and good room but had to pay for wifi. Directions to washrooms not given.
