We had a lovely stay at La Faisanderie with our 2 young children. We were met by the lovely host who really made sure we felt welcome and we were comfortable. The kids had the best time seeing all the animals and swimming in the amazing big pool. We hope to visit again soon, thank you for a lovely stay!

Comfortable cottage in the woods
The cottage is charmingly located in the woods with a collection of pet animals including dogs, horses, ducks, peacocks and chickens. There’s a welcoming swimming pool by the side of which we took our breakfast. The accommodation was in need of some TLC but was otherwise clean and comfortable.

The double room shown on the website that we booked was definitely NOT where we stayed . We were put in an outbuilding in the garden that was cold and uncomfortable. I have photographs to illustrate. Very disappointed and would not have booked had I seen where we were going to stay beforehand. After a 600 km drive there was no time to find an alternative.

It was a lovely position. Room was rather tatty. Towels clean but grey and old. The only picture of bedrooms is one in the main house which is rarely used. Perhaps picture of the other room should have been on web site. If I had seen the picture I would not have stayed. However the owner was delightful.

The house and setting were beautiful. The swimming pool was excellent. The hostess was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and she made us fresh breakfast every day. The only disappointment was that the promotional advertising on Expedia led us to believe that we would have an authentic old french bedroom , going on the photographs, whereas in reality we had a modern chalet next to the house.

This is in a very quiet area, accessed along an unmade road. if you like a bit of peace and quiet then this is definitely the place to go.

This was a unique place to stay, we really liked it as it was so different from the traditional hotel. Beautiful rural feeling. An original hunting lodge with authentic features and outdoor swimming pool.

Struttura con un buon potenziale, da migliorare la pulizia. Avevamo prenotato un monolocale ci è stata data una camera con bagno privato ma separato. Ci è stato concesso l’uso della cucina in comune con altri ospiti ed abbiamo cenato in giardino dal momento che la camera non disponeva di tavolo.

Une halte reposante dans un écrin de verdure
Nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis par notre hôte qui a été très gentille. La maison est dans un parc arboré et fleuri enchanteur, avec la parade des paons, des poules et du coq, la présence bienveillante des chiens... Deux chevaux complètent ce tableau bucolique. La piscine nous a permis de nous rafraîchir et de profiter de la terrasse. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre confortable et joliment décorée qui a sa salle de bain et toilettes privatives. Le séjour était très agréable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci pour l'accueil.

Mysigt och enkelt ställe.Trevlig lantlig miljö. Trädgården och pollen jättefin. Härligt med hundar, hönor, påfåglar och hästar. Bra med ett litet kök på rummet. En övernattning på vägen men vi hade kunnat stanna längre.
