Cozy bed and breakfast style with lots of Charm the staff is very helpful. If you are checking in after hours, make sure you let them know because no one will be in the office and they will leave the key in the mailbox for you.

Such a beautiful place that encompasses all one would expect about quintessential Massachusetts. Elegant crown molding, high ceilings, manicured grounds, peaceful serenity with no noise from the usual hotel chaos daring to charge twice as much for chain nonsense. The Landing restaurant was a favorite eatery right on the dock with fresh lobster and phenomenal drinks. Great walking area with shops and cafes and not far from Salem. Airport traffic was insane at the hours I had to arrive and depart, but that's on planning. Rush hour and school traffic are what you want to work around. Delivery apps are familiar with the hotel as well if you want to order in. Can't wait to be back!

This was the perfect stay. Front desk attendant was super friendly, the property was quiet but located close to restaurants and shopping, clean, and well kept. I can’t say enough about Hotel Marblehead, I’ll be back for sure

We had a very nice time with our stay at The Hotel Marblehead. Enjoyed the small plate breakfast provided each morning. The only issues we were with Wi-Fi. Could not connect my cellphone to the Wi-Fi. I was told there is a known issue with phones that use Verizon service. This issue needs to be corrected. Also had issue that I could not connect to Wi-Fi from my laptop in my room. Signal strength was good. I could connect my computer to Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby. Minor inconvenience but was able use my laptop for the tasks I need to do with the Wi-Fi connected while working in the lobby.

The staff was late setting out breakfast. Ignored us in the lobby while we were waiting for the breakfast service. It was completely empty when we arrived which felt somewhat unsafe.

Quiet stay
We came down on a Friday and left on Sunday. Hosts was great and well informed. We had a nice patio to sit at. I was a bit surprised of the lack of a trash can aside from the bathroom. The patio curtains didn't really block out the light so sleeping in wasn't an option. We loved how close this place was to Salem and yet nice and quiet. Thank you for having us.
