The pool was never open. The breakfast was a combination of cereal, waffles, toast, coffee, juice, and muffin. The room, 318, smelled like a room of homeless guys. The carpet was sticky, stained, dirty, the hall was dirty, carpet sticky and stained. The bath tub did not have a stopper for taking a bath. The caulking around the tub showed mildew. The bathroom had not been cleaned, and there was clearly urine stains in front of the toilet, on the floor. The staff was friendly. I won't stay at the Valley Inn again.

The room and hallways were filthy. The room itself was run down, holes in walls, we could smell moisture/mold as soon as we walked in. We originally had planned to stay 4 nights, but checked out the next morning after not getting in until 4 am. The only nice things were the pillows, and the lady who checked us out and refunded us without question.

The room did not have a microwave or fridge and the remote to the TV was broken. The toiletries were already half used and there was makeup on some of the towels. You could hear everything in the rooms above, below, and on each side so trying to sleep was absolutely terrible.

We had a very nice stay here, it was quiet, comfortable, the staff was friendly and it was extremely afforable compared to so many other places we looked at. It was close to a bunch of restaurants, the Maverik Center and some shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel, the area around it is a bit sketchy looking but we didn't have any issues or see anything weird going on.

We were glad to get into our room early, which was a nice plus. However, check-in at the front desk took longer than expected. The gym was closed, the ice machine on the third floor wasn’t working, and the room itself wasn’t very clean. The carpets and walls looked dirty, and the shower curtain had stains that were concerning. On the bright side, the area was quiet. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for more than a night.

I had a reservation to stay at your hotel one night sept 16th 2025. I booked a room with a jetted tub. I experienced the following: Location: West Valley Inn 3540 S 2200 W, West Valley City, UT 84119 1. They rented me a room with a jetted tub. 2. The jetted tub did not work. 3. He said that the problem is the pump which the maintenance man had ordered but had not received yet. - THIS MEANS THEY KNEW THE JETTED TUB DID NOT WORK AND RENTED THE ROOM TO ME ANYWAYS!!! When I asked why would they do this he commented on the fact that I paid much less than they regularly charge for this room. 4. I requested to be moved to another room to which I was told all other rooms were booked. 5. He told me he could refund me and that it was approved by his manager to do so. 6. I asked to speak to his manager directly to which he texted his manager and then said that I may not speak to his manager directly but offered an email address for the manager to which he wrote down on a sticky note and gave it to me. The email address I was given is: 45097wvc@gmail.com. 7. I told him to go ahead and process the refund and I waited for him to do so. 8. He said that the refund was completed on his end and that all i have to do is contact Xpedia to complete the refund process. 8. The total amount that was charged is $119.58 9. I expect $119.58 to be refunded. The reason I booked this room was for the jetted tub. The hotel knowingly put me in this room where the main amenity

The room was filthy. The cords were literally hanging out of the walls with giant holes. There is black mold in the shower. The towels were wet and moldy. Thank goodness we were only stuck for 6 hours until leaving for the airport.

Average due to the remodeling.

The hotel is under remodeling into a Best Western. Except a lot of construction. The room was average clean. There was some tiles that were broken and the room had a musty smell.

Stayed for 2 night. Choose this hotel for the amenities it had and location. The gym is no longer a gym it’s a storage closet. The pool was closed for “cleaning.” The sheets from the bed had stains all over it. Only good thing was the location, near by plenty of stuff walking distance and driving.
