There was some miscommunication and assumptions made between the owner and ourselves, when it came to having a pet and when it came to the breakfast option. The owner also did not answer (ignored?) the question I posed three times in VRBO messaging about whether any discounts were available but answered my other questions. And lastly, there was no toilet paper in our cabin and so we had to text the owner to bring some over and that text was made late in the evening and not the best for the owner or for us. When the owner came to drop off the TP, my dog was on the couch, and the owner was visibly displeased and had to say to me “dogs are not allowed on the furniture.” I felt terrible, even though we had put a towel down, it was the reprimand/tone (we were paying $438/night) that felt offside. Otherwise so very clean and really lovely place.
