Great location-- close to transportation, shopping and attractions. Staff are helpful. One star off because our room is too hot. We turned on AC in order to sleep, but I still couldn't get decent sleep.

This is so close to the main train station that it took us about 5 minutes to walk back and forth. The bus stop is less than five minutes the other direction for the city bus. The breakfast was in the restaurant and it was suberb! Fresh cheese, meats and breads in addition to hot foods. Definitely would stay here again.

Staffs are very friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is nearby restaurants, main train station and walking distance to grocery stores. Definitely will come back to this hotel when we’re here. Also the restaurant is amazing. We ordered 8 different dishes and all of them were very delicious.

Nice Stay
We had a nice stay at the Imlauer & Brau. Food was great at both breakfast & dinner. The hotel staff were so wonderful & went out of their way to help us. The beds were super comfy. My only complaint was there was no lotion, the shampoo was a combo shampoo/body wash & the shower had only a tiny glass partition so the floor was covered in water after every shower. We took advantage of an eco-conservation program to skip a day of housekeeping in return for a 5€ voucher to use toward snacks or the restaurant. Brilliant!

The Hotel is at a very convenient positin, few minutes walk to Main station. Everything was good, except the shower head was quite weak, the waterflow is not satisfying at all and the hot cold control is not stable. The room soundproof is not very good, you can hear the elevator door slamming clearly. Other than that, it is very good place to stay, staffs are very nice. Check in and out was smooth. Breakfast doesnt have a lots of options but was OK enough.

- Local hotel brand with solid kitchen. The original point for the Imlauer group. The Gasthaus StieglBräu, owned by the Stiegl brewery, opened its doors in 1912. In 1999, Georg and Ingrid Imlauer founded IMLAUER Hotel & Restaurant GmbH, which has been the tenant of the StieglBräu (now Hotel Bräu and Braurestaurant IMLAUER) ever since. - Nice breakfast buffet with abundant fruit, tasty local cheese and ham, homemade cakes, and some hot sausage/bacon/eggs. - Homemade Bundt is a little dry but tastes eggy. The other unnamed one has cherry jam and nuts. Food selection of cheese. The blue cheese is really flavorful. Others milky and nutty. 8-min Egg is probably cooked more than that but easy to peel

The staff, overall cleanliness and breakfast buffet were great, but we only stayed one night and I’m glad that was all. The A/C didn’t work at all, so even though it was cool outside, it was uncomfortably hot in the room. We opened the window to try to let in some air, but the hotel is on a busy street so it was either sleep hot or noisy. One other major issue, was the shower design. The shower head was positioned in the middle of the tub with a piece of glass covering only half the tub from the door side of the bathroom. The shower head also didn’t fit right, so it swung around loosely and not in any fixed position.. water got everywhere no matter what and we had to hold the head with one hand to actually rinse off, otherwise it just sprays the wall. Wouldn’t stay here again.

20 mins walk to station. Well maintained and clean property. Room is spacious for 4 of us. Walking distance to major attraction. Nice restaurant. Good wifi. Very happy stay!
