I stayed at Dilfuz and had a highly disappointing experience. I had booked two nights through Expedia, and while I attempted to cancel the second night (within the cancellation policy for that night), the hotel never responded to either Expedia or my direct inquiries before my arrival. When I arrived, two receptionists assured me that the refund would be processed to my card after checkout. However, after I left, the hotel became completely unreachable—ignoring emails and calls from both me and Expedia.
To make matters worse, when I entered the room, there was no toilet paper at all, and there was also a huge stain on the floor. While the location initially seemed convenient, every time I called a taxi through Yandex, it took 15 minutes to reach the hotel—much longer than at other locations where taxis typically arrived within 5 minutes.
It’s incredibly frustrating and concerning when a hotel fails to communicate or follow through on promises. If they had no intention of issuing a refund, I would have preferred honesty upfront. Their complete unresponsiveness is alarming, and I want to caution others against staying here. If something happens, there’s nobody to turn to—even Expedia is unable to help due to the hotel's lack of communication. The combination of poor room conditions and a lack of integrity left a bad impression, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
