We, 2 adults and 2 children (8&9) stayed for a Thursday night in in King suite with a sofa bed. The room, lobby, and cafe area was clean. We didn't need assistance but the staff was polite. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. It was too cold for the pool but the area was well kept.

Online check in time was 3, we get there they said check in time is at 4. So we wait the hour then we get in the room. The room smelled awful like old mop water was used to clean everything. Then we had no towels in our room had to go search for somebody. And the lights in the room were very yellow and dull. It gave off a dark vibe about the room.

This is usually a hotel we stay at when we visit San Antonio. Never had an issue until this stay. We had a couple of ‘friends’ that’s what front desk called them but they were tiny cockroaches. The floor was sticky. It wasn’t as welcoming as I remembered it.
