Very good but a few little complaints
Went on a family trip with my 2 kids and husband. Overall the place was beautiful and staff was very friendly. Few complaints were that there was more trash left around than I expected from such a well maintained facility. I know for a fact, I saw the same trash that was never picked up 2 days in a row in the same spot. Also..beware of the bees! Apparently there is a huge hive they maintain somewhere on the property which causes spill over to the other areas and we were getting relentlessly pestered by the bees more than once over at the water park which was incredibly annoying. Not to mention painful when we got stung just trying to walk from one area to another.

Everything was great. We swam at the facility and were taken care of perfectly. The only thing is that maybe some different kind of cleaning supplies should be used. The room we were in smelled a bit musty.

This hotel is beautiful. We celebrated a birthday trip for my daughter and myself, along with our family. Unfortunately the pool water was fairly cold. Since advertising, you have heat controlled pools, we were disappointed since we chose this resort for swimming. Most people were jumping out of the pool after stepping in and stating the same. The hotel was great and we were allowed a late checkout to try the pool again, but unfortunately, we mostly kept to the hot tub. I think this is a 5 star property during hot temperatures in the summer, we missed the heat by a week. Beautiful resort!

We enjoyed our stay at the JW. The property was very well maintained. Our rooms was clean and comfortable. The noise from disrespectful kids running up and down the hall was bothersome but not the hotels fault. There are plenty of options to eat or get a drink on site. We really liked that there were lots of places to hang out, to either play games, sit and visit or just curl up with a book. We loved the fireplaces all over the property. The water park area was great, even for an older couple without children. We were there Labor Day and the two days following. Once the holiday crowd left, we felt like we nearly had the resort to ourselves. They did close down the restaurant and bar in the water park because it was so slow which was inconvenient, but the small crowd made it worth it. We will definitely be back again and recommend to our family and friends.

Wonderful experience ! Highly recommend. Staff were always courteous, cheerful and accommodating. The water park was a plus!

Enjoyed my stay for the most part, but I did not enjoy the ants in my bed. Got bitten a few times. Had to sleep on top of the covers to avoid being bitten any further. Brought it to the staff's attention after the first night, but the problem was not solved. At checkout there was an employee with bug killer on my floor. The person at check out said they had similar complaints from other guests that weekend. I realize with it being Labor Day weekend that there probably wasn't another room they could move me too. I basically tried to avoid my room as much as possible by staying by the pool. Would have been an awesome experience, but ants in the bed is a big problem.
