Stayed a week and was pleasantly surprised. It was quiet, the breakfast was amazing and was walkable to all of Riverwalks havings. Also having laundry available was a plus.

Well the hotel was clean and nice itself. The staff was Ok. The things that I didn't like was if you want to pay cash, you have to wait until you check out, but they still take your card for file reasons (I get that, all hotels do). But yet the money plus parking still came out of my account. Then their smoke detecters doesn't work properly. We just checked and we was still waiting on our room to be cleaned and it detected smoke in the room. Well they chargedmy card again more than the price of the room itself. I had to fight with to get that money put back in. Then they double charged my sister for her room. As off 5-6 days later, I am still waiting on almost a good amount of money to clear my bank. Because the hotel takes forever to do anything. They say its a 3rd party. They said it would take 3-5 days. Everything else has cleared. Even them taking out the money to began with has already cleared my account which of course putting in a jam. And I have stayed at La Quinta Hotels before, and never nothing like this.

False advertisement. The room sizes are extremely small at this location. The pictures on Expedia are not real. I booked a family suite for 5 people. Which was suppose to be a living room and 1 bed room. There’s no such thing at this property. This was the first time this ever has happened to me. I have been using Expedia all my life and this has never happened. The hotel did a good job accommodating us accordingly due to the lack of advertising. But family suite is not as big as you think. It is good for only 2 adults and 1 child if that.

The room was in great shape; all facilities in the room were clean, beautiful and worked well. Hoever, one elevator out of three did not work during our three night stay and one other elevator only worked part of the time. This occurred over the New Year holiday when the hotel was packed to the brim up to the 15th floor. Wait lines for the elevators were notoriously long. The staff did an amazing job feeding breakfast to more than 700 customers. The pool and hot tub were both at great temperatures and remarkably clean considering the high rate of usage. The staff was always upbeat even though they were non-stop busy!
