It was once owned by the ancient later noble Florentine families Cavalcanti and Filippo Strozzi Jr. Confiscated from the first Duke of Florence, Alessandro de 'Medici, the property was sold in 1599 to the Spedale di Santa Maria Nuova in Florence, before coming back into the possession of the Strozzi family This detached country house is beautifully located on a hill, in a completely quiet location surrounded by olive grove, a vineyard, and a large garden with stunning panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside.
