Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Property was close to everything. Property was clean. However, elevator broke Friday night and climbing 5 flights of stairs was not ideal. Made the stay a lot less desirable specially when parking was not close by.
More like a youth hotel.
Homeless people in the front of the hotel and back.
No central air conditioning.
The sink of the bathroom is the toilet…

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Super cute little lobby area and record store. The concept of the rooms is really fun. I can see how great it is when it was at it's full potential. However, our room smelled of wet towel and the carpet and couch seemed really dirty, didn't dare to sit on the couch or walk around without shoes. The bed was super comfy. Small but comfy. Cute little setup, just needed a good scrub/deep clean to feel comfortable.
Do not recommend this facility. The area is littered with trash, homeless people and vagrant types. The entrance area is filthy as well. I booked a “Premier Studio with CityView” the room they gave me was a split studio with no city view. The check in staff were rude and are now refusing to refund me a portion of the room cost. The room I was in was dirty, lamps didn't work and lock on door did not function as advertised. I was on a very tight family schedule and had little time until I came back to Nevada to address the issues. I feel a bait and switch occurred and will never stay or recommend this “hotel”

Room was basic and what I needed.. however the blinds/curtains were broken and the noise, even from the cleaning team was really hard to stay focused working from the room.
Loved the room and building, looks can be decieving. The room looked like a updted studio and eco friendly bathroom, toilet was a little new cause i had to figure out how to turn off the sink, which it turns off automatically. Area is good walking distance to a lot of things on Hillcrest. Only thing was the bums fighting at night and hanging round the 7/11 on the corner, but it was a great stay nonetheless.
The room was very spacious but the layout was weird, bathrooms weren't really "rooms" but exposed toilets and tubin the room, kitchen sink was also the bathroom vanity. Floors felt sticky, carpet felt greasy. Window coverings did not block out blaring lights from 7-11, gas station and surrounding sketchy neighborhood
The location of this property can't be beat. It is more of an air bnb and not a hotel. The room/restroom is a very open which can be fun if you like your toilet in the living room. :) The area around the hotel is sketchy after dark but I never felt unsafe. You can walk to everything in the Hillcrest area which is its saving grace.
This met our most important need which was location to our 2 events nearby. The place was fine and we'd like to stay another time but were not fond of the loft bed - it was really hot up there (unusually hot weekend didn't help).
The staff were helpful and the restaurant inside was great.
