The staff were all very friendly and informative. During my stay, I did notice the facilities seemed be lacking. The shower temperature gauge was installed upside down so cold water is actually hotbl and vice-versa. There also seemed to be a lose connection on one of the bed side lamps that would flicker then stay on at about half the brightness of the other lamp.

Not clean, all the halls smelled to marihuana, the air was not working, the tv remote was not working. The ice machine was not working. The only thing good was the breakfast.

My daughter accidentally left an expensive swimsuit in our room. Called Best Western to see if their housekeeping staff found it. BW Miramar said they didn’t find anything in the room which implies to me that the person cleaning the room when we checked out took it. Disappointing. Other than that my stay at this location was pleasant.

Pool was closed due to renovation. The room looked old. Needs update. Close to freeway. Hotel was okay. Was expecting more from Best Western. Stayed at other Best Western hotels before but this one was a bit disappointing. Been visiting San Diego many times and I have yet to find a hotel that doesn't look rundown. Will find another place to stay next time
