Would NOT recommend this place

At reception i could not understand the gentleman running the desk. My son also had trouble following him. While entering the room the bottom of the door ran over my toe cutting both my shoe and actual toe. I requested a handicap room as I use a walker and the only thing that was provided was a seat for the shower that didn't fit in the shower. There was barely room for maneuver in the room itself. Bed was really high, had trouble as a handicap person getting into the bed. The AC was really noisy. And the room at first glance looked nice. But spending any time you see it was poorly upgraded. The mini fridge was the smallest we had in any hotel we've stayed in. I don't like giving bad reviews but even my son said I really needed to say something about how bad it was.

The property was nice, staff friendly. But I booked a king size and Expedia overbooked so when I got to the hotel they only had a room with two queens. I’m 6’7 and they still weren’t able to accommodate me. So I couldn’t really sleep well in the smaller bed. I understand it’s not the hotels fault but Expedia needs to look into availability so this doesn’t happen to other people.

The property was very clean and well kept, parking was very limited though. The biggest issue was the noise, from the start we knew we’d hear the cars from the freeway which wasn’t our issue. Our issue was how much you could hear the neighbors next door, it was like any little sound went right into our room. The workout room is smaller than our room, and the dining options were limited to one small cafe downstairs, no room service apparently. Overall the hotel was clean and had great bedding.

Our toilet was not flushing & running constantly so we let the front desk know. Maintenance came & when we returned only one flush & again not work….middle of the the night I had to put my hand in the tank to flush it, gross for sure. We were compensated with points at Marriott for a future 1 night stay however We do feel we should be compensated by Expedia as well
