This was a stay for a one night business trip to San Diego. Everything was fine, really, but the parking was very full when I arrived and the signs weren’t very clear as to what parking was available. The breakfast buffet wasn’t included with the stay and given the rather generic nature of the items available, it should have been. There are more fruits in the world than apples, oranges, and bananas. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there was nothing that stood out as remarkable while I was there.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff, and modern, up-to-date design of the lobby, restaurant, and rooms. Negatives: Cleanliness - this was by far one of the dirtiest rooms I've ever stayed in. Both the comforter of the bed and areas of the carpet reeked of urine and we ended up using our own blankets since we were so grossed out. Sometimes we would just get a waft of pee smell moving around the room, and it made for a very unpleasant stay. And while you can't expect a hotel room to be perfectly clean, the brown marks on the walls of the bathroom and around the bed were icky as well. Lastly, parking was $16 a night, which substantially bumped up the cost of the room. There were no nearby parking lots for us to use besides the paid one, which again, was an unfortunate surprise. The hotel isn't in a high-traffic area either, and the prices were as if we were staying in a nicer hotel downtown. Overall, while the parking prices were annoying, the intense urine smell on the carpet and the bed are the main reasons why I will never book this hotel again.

We had to ask for another room right away…the counter where the coffee maker and tv was covered with ants. Bed looked like it was not very beet and clean. Toilet paper hanger was falling off the wall..just looked very dirty.

Not a fan of paying for parking at a hotel. You would think they would build it into the price of the room. I know it’s a marketing thing but really, guys how much profit do you want. All the hotels in San Diego are charging for parking. It really stinks.

The room was not even close to satisfactory standards. The sink and shower were clogged up, and the shower itself was not clean. The room was connected to another room and we could hear everything!! There were spider webs and dust around the room too. If we had not traveled internationally for 24 hours, and my children had not fallen asleep as soon as they touched the beds there is no chance I would have stayed here. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay. Highly disappointed with our experience here!

Great Hotel
My family and I have stayed at this hotel before. We like it a lot. Parking is terrible. Too tight and the parking spots are small. I had an issue in my room and I went to the front desk and Donetta helped me and moved me into a new room. Donnetta and Karla were very professional, helpful and just a pleasure to deal with!
