Overall, a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, helpful and engaging. Seamus was especially helpful with dining locations and things to do. Every time we met a staff person, they greeted us. Valet parking was wonderful. The room was outstanding. It was large, clean, the pillows were high quality, the mattress was superior, the view was the absolute best. The balcony and view was one of the best we have ever had. Directly overlooking the boardwalk, beach and ocean. The only reason for not perfect 10's across the board is the cafe is small and has limited menu and no "bar" to hang out and watch TV. But that was actually an advantage as it made the hotel quiet without a younger generation bar hang out. There are plenty of other nearby bars if loud music and loud TVs is your thing. Overall, one of the top 5 hotels I have stayed at in 40 years of travelling. Will definitely come back.

Very much enjoyed our stay . Lovely big room, great pool and loungers. Enjoyed use of free bicycles. Very friendly staff. Only negative was service at breakfast was poor.

Our room was nice and big with a beautiful view. The people were all very friendly and nice. The towel animals made by our housekeeper were cute. The food at the cafe was okay but usually not very hot.
