My experience at Redwood Creek Inn left much to be desired. While I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, this experience truly tested my patience. Initially, we encountered minor issues with the front desk during check-in, which I brushed off. However, the real frustration began when I received a call from the front desk at 11 pm, disturbing my rest. Expecting an emergency, I answered, only to be informed that my card had been accidentally charged twice. Exhausted and preparing for an early morning MRI, I politely requested to handle the matter in the morning. Instead, I was met with argumentation from the clerk, despite expressing my fatigue and urgency.
The next morning, my dismay continued when I found the shower in my room filled with human hair – a hygiene issue that left me feeling repulsed. Upon attempting to check out, I was met with further frustration as the same front desk employee, whom I can only describe as a "wise guy," insisted on asserting his perspective and dismissing my concerns.
In a world where customer service is paramount, I felt disregarded and overlooked as a consumer. While mistakes are inevitable in any business, the lack of effort to rectify the situation or provide satisfactory resolution was disappointing. As someone who values a seamless and comfortable stay when booking a hotel, this experience fell far short of expectations.
