I just want to preface this review by saying that I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews, normally keep them to myself. Firstly, not the easiest to get to by public transport. The bus stop is only 5-10 mins walk, but it’s up quite a hill without a safe footpath. With suitcases this isn’t an enjoyable task especially when the gravel driveway makes wheeling the luggage very hard. Anyway, on to the hotel. The decor of our room did not look like the rooms which were depicted on the website. It was very very dated and just didn’t look nice. The beds were quite uncomfortable. Despite our room being not far from the reception area, the wifi connection was not strong enough to use in the room. The restaurant at the hotel was poor. The food was not good (including very undercooked pasta) and the service was extremely slow (over an hour and 15 mins from ordering for 2 pastas to be served). The restaurant staff were not overly helpful. The pool area is beautiful, but everything else needs an update. San Gimignano is a lovely town, but probably wouldn’t stay here next time

Beautiful resort! The pool was a lovely part of our day and a way to cool down. The staff were friendly & helpful. We got a room upgrade and early check in when we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise! Would absolutely stay here again if I have the pleasure of visiting Tuscany.

Som et gammelt sterilt sykehus. Ekstremt stygge fliser og gammeldags interiør. Lange kalde korridorer. Steinhard seng. Air condition styres fra resepsjonen. Svært unge uerfaren personal som ikke snakker engelsk. Møkkete alle steder.

Vi tilbringte 4 netter på hotellet. Innsjekk: vi ble tatt i mot av en resepsjonist som ikke kunne engelsk, så det ble ganske utfordrene. Vi brukte google translate, og en annen gjest som kunne italiensk bisto oss. Med et såpass stort hotell, så er det forunderlig at man velger å ha noen i resepsjon som ikke greier å kommunisere på engelsk. Rommet var greit nok, men flott med stor veranda. Frokost generelt er vel ikke en italiensk greie. Med det i betraktning, så var frokosten bra. Fantastisk utsikt mot San Gimignano, et deilig basseng og god parkeringsplass. Totalt sett hadde vi et fint opphold. Hotellet har nylig hatt en renovering, som ikke var helt ferdig. De har noe forbedringsområder innen service. Bar/restauranten var noe kaotisk, spesielt når det var en del gjester. De mistet helt oversikt om hvem som bestilte hva.

Beautiful resort. Nice room, air conditioning and they gave us water every day! Friendly staff also. Everything was clean. Only thing was the bed was very hard and not so comfortable. There was also some construction work who made noise by the pool. Spa was also closed.

Kauniilla paikalla oleva resort tyylinen hotelli. Palvelu hidasta, laiskaa ja välinpitämätöntä. Huoneet siistit ja toimivat ja hyvä parkkipaikka. Ruoka kehnoa ja palvelu olematonta sekä ravintolassa että altaalla. Ei viettäisi 2 yötä enempää täällä, parempiakin paikkoja löytyy.
