Spacious room and a relaxing, quiet courtyard and interior common spaces. Walking distance to anything you could want. Great location for Alajuela. Friendly staff.

I arrived late at night, which I announced and was acknowledged the day before. It was no problem. When I arrived however nobody was there, or opened the door or answered the phone. Luckily some very friendly neighbours saw me sitting on my bag in front of the door and took me in their house. They arranged a stay for me at and drove me to the backpackers hostel in central Alajuela.

I wouldn’t know. I showed up and nobody was there to open door. We stood outside waiting and knocking without getting an answer so we just left to a different hotel. We couldn’t just wait to see who will answer while we wait in the hot sun holding our luggage.

Great stay near the airport
This was the perfect spot for our last night in Costa Rica before our early morning flight. Very close to the airport, secure, reasonable/inexpensive, and everything you need to enjoy a night in San Jose.
