Decent Place But Has Issues.
No hotel is perfect, but some things need to be correct. Staff was competent and friendly except for the restaurant breakfast staff in the morning (dinner time were good). Most of the time just standing around talking to each other not paying attention to the fact that there are No coffee cups available while they are standing in front of where the coffee cups should be, trays for the buffet without food, No bread (0) available while the person in charge walks right past it and takes no action. I sent laundry to be cleaned and received pieces unironed, some pieces burnt when ironed. After complaints it was done again and done right. One of the three elevators was broken almost every day. Would be fixed in the morning and by afternoon, stopped on the 8th floor again. On the other hand the Reception, Bellboy and Security staff were helpful and nice. Hotel is OK but it is an older property, I believe the "Sleep Inn" about 200 yards away offers nicer rooms, better security enclosure and friendlier more competent staff for breakfast. Would I stay here again ? Yes, but the SLEEP INN would be my First Choice.

The staff was friendly, the service was good. Soundproofing could be improved, the area around is noisy. The room was well-appointed, but could be freshened up (the sink had a crack, the bathtub mat was very old).

Excellent Stay at Marriott Hotel
My stay at Marriott Hotel in San Jose , Costa Rica was amazing. Very friendly employees, very clean Hotel, Food in Restaurant was delicious. Location is very excellent, very close to Downtown.. Overall was great experience and my stay was enjoyable.. I will definitely stay again

I liked the inviting lobby. I hated that the coffee maker instructions did not the actual process. I also hated that not only were there very limited english speaking tv channels, the volume was terribly low; especially, hard to hear when the AC was on.

New to Costa Rica, this Delta hotel was perfect. The staff were kind and friendly. The bartender, Ian, served me a glass of wine three times the size I'd get in the states. The breakfast choices were too numerous to list. What a great find!
